I couldn't have asked for a better location! The hotel is just steps away from the boardwalk and beach, offering simple and easy access to Asbury Park. The rooms were a bit humid, making it uncomfortable, but the stunning ocean views from the higher floors were breathtaking.
The hotel offers large and nice rooms that are modern and very spacious, but could use a refrigerator and a microwave. Despite some shortcomings with the rooms, the location is definitely the greatest perk, with a wonderful view of restored Victorian homes and mansions in adjacent towns. Dining options were wonderful but overpriced, while the service was somewhat lacking in attentiveness although the staff were casual. Facilities were satisfactory.
Although the hotel needs major updating and a renovation, and the rooms were expensive, the staff were accommodating and attentive. The location, despite needing a renovation, is the greatest perk, being near the Asbury Park boardwalk. The dining experience was very good with lots of options. The facilities were well-maintained, offering a pleasant stay overall.
